1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how WildSEO collects, uses, and protects information when you visit our website, create an account, or use our analytics platform (the "Service"). By using the Service, you consent to the practices described below.
2. Who We Are
WildSEO is operated by CryptoPerk, Inc., a Delaware corporation headquartered in San Mateo County, California. We act as:
- Data Controller for information we collect from visitors, prospects, and users.
- Data Processor for Customer Data that you upload, connect, or generate through the Service.
3. Information We Collect
Account and Billing Data
- Name, email address, organization name, role.
- Billing and payment details processed through secure, PCI-compliant providers.
Service Usage Data
- Prompt identifiers, query metadata, model provider selection, response timestamps, and token usage metrics.
- System events and logs used to monitor performance and security.
Website and Analytics Data
- IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and referring URLs.
- Cookies or similar technologies to remember preferences and measure site traffic.
We do not collect or store sensitive personal information such as government IDs, financial account numbers, or biometric data.
4. How We Use Information
We use collected data to:
- Operate and improve the Service.
- Authenticate users and secure accounts.
- Provide customer support and billing.
- Analyze aggregate usage trends to enhance reliability and performance.
- Send transactional emails and optional product updates with user consent.
Processing is based on contractual necessity, legitimate interest, or consent where required by law.
5. Customer Data and AI Processing
Customer Data includes prompts, responses, and related metadata that you submit to the Service. WildSEO processes this data only to generate reports and analytics for your organization.
We may route prompts and responses through trusted AI providers to fulfill requests. These providers are bound by contract to use the data solely to perform the requested operation and not for model training.
WildSEO does not use Customer Data to train general-purpose AI models. We may retain anonymized and aggregated statistics (such as frequency counts or sentiment averages) to improve system accuracy.
5a. Google User Data & Limited Use
When you connect your Google account, WildSEO requests the following OAuth scopes to power product features you explicitly enable:
- Google Search Console —
webmasters.readonly: read your verified site list, performance data (queries, pages, clicks, impressions, CTR, position), sitemaps, and URL inspection results. Used to power the Search Console, Indexing, Growing/Decaying, Zombie Pages, and Content Freshness features. - Google Analytics 4 —
analytics.readonly: read GA4 reports for properties you select. Used to power the AI Traffic page (AI source visitors, top sources, landing pages, devices, countries). - Basic profile —
userinfo.email: display the connected Google account inside the app so you know which account is linked.
WildSEO's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically:
- We use Google user data only to provide or improve the user-facing features that are prominent in the WildSEO interface.
- We do not transfer Google user data to third parties except as necessary to provide or improve those features, to comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets with notice to users.
- We do not use Google user data for serving advertisements, including retargeted, personalized, or interest-based advertising.
- We do not sell Google user data.
- We do not use Google user data to develop, improve, or train generalized AI and/or machine learning models. Prompts and responses generated by the WildSEO Answer Engine Optimization features are not derived from Google user data.
- Humans do not read Google user data unless we have obtained your affirmative agreement, it is necessary for security purposes (such as investigating abuse), to comply with applicable law, or for internal operations where the data has been aggregated and anonymized.
5b. Revoking Google Access & Deleting Google Data
You can disconnect Google at any time from Settings → Search Console inside WildSEO. Disconnecting:
- Immediately deletes your stored OAuth refresh and access tokens.
- Stops all background syncs of Search Console and GA4 data for your organization.
- Removes cached Search Console performance rows, sitemap records, URL inspection results, and GA4 traffic rows within 30 days.
You can also revoke WildSEO's access directly from Google at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Revoking from Google has the same effect as disconnecting from inside the app.
6. Cookies and Tracking
We use first-party cookies for login sessions and analytics. You can disable cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not function properly.
7. Data Sharing and Processors
We share data only with vendors that help us operate the Service—such as cloud hosting, authentication, payment processing, email delivery, and analytics. Each vendor is subject to contractual data-protection obligations consistent with GDPR and CCPA standards.
When you connect Google Search Console or Google Analytics, Google LLC acts as a sub-processor for the Google-sourced data described in Section 5a. Data flows from Google's APIs to WildSEO's servers only, and only for the scopes you have granted.
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information.
8. International Transfers
Data may be stored and processed in the United States or other countries where we or our vendors operate. Where required, we use Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or equivalent mechanisms to ensure adequate protection.
9. Data Retention
- Account and billing records are kept while your account is active and for legal retention periods thereafter.
- Prompt content and model outputs are kept only as long as necessary to generate reports, then anonymized or deleted.
- You may request deletion at any time via hello@wildseo.co.
10. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access, correct, or delete your personal data.
- Request a copy (portability) of your data.
- Restrict or object to certain processing.
- Withdraw consent for marketing emails.
California residents also have rights under the CPRA to know what personal information is collected, request deletion, and opt out of any "sale" or "sharing." WildSEO does not sell personal information.
To exercise rights, contact us at hello@wildseo.co.
11. Security
We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect data, including encryption, access controls, and secure hosting environments. While we strive for reasonable security, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute protection.
12. Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for individuals under 13 (or under 16 where local law applies). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware of such data, we will delete it.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced by email or in-app notice before they take effect. The "Effective Date" above shows the latest revision.
